Doc's Sports

A long running pick shop. The roster page advertises short dollar runs. We did not get a settled log we could grade.

How to read this page

A review stays unrated until four things are in the file: a record Watchdog graded from posts, the record the service advertises, a price from a page we opened, and a real sample of customer experience. A hot streak on a sales page is not that file. None of these ten clear that bar, so none of them get a number.

What they advertise

On 27 Oct 2026 the Doc's Sports expert page said Doc (Morey Moseman) has been the sole owner since the service opened in 1971. A heading on that page calls the unit system a tradition since 1971. The paragraph under it says the company was the first to develop a unit system over 38 years ago. Those spans are not the same, and this review does not pick one.

The same page sells a roster, not one person. The blurbs we read were short and promotional. Scott Spreitzer was listed with a 7 star Sunday NFL sweep, a college and pro football October line of 69% and +3,660, a 7-1 football week at +15,260, and an all sports line of 128-82 at 61%. Robert Ferringo was listed at 99-57, +28,800 on 8 unit games of the year. Doc's Sports AI-v3 was listed at +22,990 since inception and +18,430 in 2026. Those lines do not show the losses around them, the prices, or the post times.

What Watchdog has graded

Not matched to a Watchdog graded record in this edition. The public board hides names, and this service was not confirmed inside the public posts we grade.

Pricing

The roster page we opened did not state a package price. Individual capper pages are where Doc's sells the plays. A price from a third party shop is not quoted here as if Doc's had published it.

Transparency

The roster we opened was headline runs, not a full card with the line, the price and the time of the post. The page also offers a weekly email of free picks. That email was not opened.

Customer experience

This edition does not include a verified sample of buyers. A guarantee slogan on a sales page is not that sample.

Strengths

The owner is named, and the founding claim is on their own page rather than only on a reseller.

They publish a unit system and a free weekly note, so a reader can see the pitch before paying.

Weaknesses

The numbers on the roster are marketing lines. They are not a record Watchdog graded.

Several handicappers share one storefront, so a win posted under Doc's Sports is not automatically the founder's win.

What is still missing

  • No Watchdog graded record is attached, so the verified record points stay empty.
  • Figures in the advertise section are quotes from the pages named below.
  • A price is included only when a page opened on the check date showed it. A reseller price is labeled as one.
  • There is no independent sample of buyers, so this page stays Not rated.

Where this sits

A named service review is not a Watchdog grade. A pick counts here only when it was posted in public before the start, and the free board opens at 100 graded picks. How a record is graded.
