bet365

bet365 publishes a shorter U.S. map than FanDuel, with launch dates and a new-customer offer that closes 23 Nov 2026. The offer is the operator's, not ours.

Independent research

No operator paid for this page. There is no referral link. The reading is from the sources at the bottom, checked 27 Oct 2026. It is not a hands-on test, and a bet is not a plan to make money.

What the record supports

The operator's state page names each live jurisdiction and a launch date, and it says the bettor must be physically there.

The same page shows a sports menu that includes NFL, college football, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, tennis, UFC, and MLS, plus live betting and same game parlays in some state blurbs.

One new-customer offer was readable in full enough to summarize, with an end time.

What it does not

The U.S. footprint is narrower. New York, Massachusetts, and several other legal-betting states are not on this page.

Louisiana is limited to permitted parishes. D.C. is listed at 18+ for the offer, while the other named places are 21+.

Cashier methods, support wait, license numbers, and prices were not documented on this check. The offer has heavy exclusions and is app only.

Overview

This page is a reading of bet365's U.S. states hub on 27 Oct 2026. Watchdog did not open an account or place a bet. The assessment is documented research.

bet365 says its sportsbook is live across 18 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. The page is a launch history as much as a map. New Jersey is described as the oldest U.S. market, opened 30 Aug 2019. West Virginia is described as open for sports betting and online casino from 27 Aug 2026. D.C. is described as open from 8 Sep 2026. Michigan's blurb still calls that state the 17th live state on 17 Apr 2026. That sentence is the page's launch wording. The current count is the page's own summary, 18 states and D.C., which matches the jurisdiction list printed above the blurbs.

Betting markets

The states hub links odds pages for the NFL, the Super Bowl, college football, UFC, the NBA, MLB, the NHL, the WNBA, tennis, and MLS. Maryland's blurb mentions live wagering and same game parlays. Louisiana's blurb says the book is built for pregame and live betting. That is a published menu of leagues, not a count of props or alternate lines. Market selection stays Not scored. It is enough to say the major U.S. leagues are on the public site, along with tennis, UFC, and MLS.

Live betting

Live betting is named in the Louisiana and Maryland blurbs, and the offer rules talk about live in-game bets, including when a push does not count toward releasing bonus bets. The feature is part of the published product. Board speed and cash out were not tested, so live betting is not given a quality score.

Odds and pricing

The hub links to odds pages. Those prices were not saved or compared. Odds and pricing stay Not scored.

Mobile application

The new-customer offer on this page is claimed in the bet365 app, and the page says the app is on iOS and Android. A web sportsbook exists. The offer itself is not available as a desktop claim. Usability was not tested. Mobile experience stays Not scored. The documented fact is that at least one current offer is app only.

Deposits and withdrawals

The offer requires a deposit of at least $10 in the seven days before it is claimed. No national list of deposit brands, withdrawal methods, or payout times was opened. Deposits and withdrawals stay Not scored, apart from that minimum on this one promotion and the location rule attached to it.

Customer support

A support channel, hours, and a wait time were not opened on this check. Customer service stays Not scored.

Security and licensing

bet365 describes the listed states as licensed states and names some partnerships, including the Ak-Chin Indian Community in Arizona and club deals in several states. A partnership is not the license. No certificate was read from a regulator. Security and consumer protections stay Not scored. The consumer protection that is on the page is geographic: a deposit or a bet on this offer requires the person to be physically in a listed jurisdiction, and people on an exclusion list are not eligible.

Geographic availability

The live list on bet365.com on 27 Oct 2026 was Arizona, Colorado, Washington, D.C., Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The offer block says Louisiana is permitted parishes only. It also says the customer has to be 21 or older, except 18 or older in D.C., and physically in one of those jurisdictions to deposit or bet under that promotion. New York is not on the list. Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico are not on it either. A reader in those places should not treat a national ad as access.

Responsible gambling

The pages read for this check did not inventory bet365 limit tools, cool off periods, or self exclusion steps. The offer excludes anyone on an exclusion list. That is not a description of the tool. Responsible gambling tools stay Not documented here. The sitewide line still applies: 21 or older, and 1-800-GAMBLER. D.C.'s 18+ line is the operator's age for that jurisdiction, not a Watchdog rule. This site does not tell anyone under 21 to open an account.

Promotions

The states hub was carrying one new-customer offer on 27 Oct 2026: bet $10 and get $200 in bonus bets, win or lose. It is the operator's offer. Watchdog does not pay it and has no bet365 referral link.

The terms that were readable say a new customer has to deposit at least $10 in the prior seven days, claim the offer in the app within 30 days of registration, and have at least $10 in qualifying bets settle within 30 days of the claim. The bonus is $200 in bonus bets. The stake is not returned with bonus-bet winnings. Straight bets shorter than -500 do not count, and at least one leg of a parlay has to be -500 or longer. Bets on both sides of a market are restricted so only the largest side counts. Cashed out bets, boosts, and some pushes do not count. Bonus bets cannot be used on teasers or boosts. The offer closes to new customers at 8:59 a.m. on 23 Nov 2026. Illinois and any other state exception that is not in this block were not given a separate reading. If the app shows different terms, the app is the offer.

Who it may suit

A reader who is in one of the 18 states or in D.C., and who wants a book that prints launch dates and a single readable new-customer offer, can use this page as a map. A reader outside that list, or a reader who wants a tested cashier and a measured price, cannot. The offer is not a reason to bet, and the bonus stake is not cash.

Verdict

bet365 gave this check a complete operator list and one current offer with an end time. The cashier, the support desk, the license file, and the price comparison are still empty. The editorial score is Not scored.
